Upon taking delivery of your new boat, you will have the opportunity to experience a “Crew’s Control” delivery. You meet with Captain Bert Gilbert who will introduce you and your family to the vessel. He will take as much time as necessary to help you become an expert at driving and handling your new boat. She and her husband owned and operated a ski school for 10 years on Lake Conroe during which time she met P.D. Sohn, the owner of Lakeshore Sports. “His clients wanted to learn how to ski, and our clients wanted to buy boats. That’s how I became a part of Lakeshore Sports.” She said with a reminiscent smile as I toured the showroom. The next one is the 1st of May for the annual “Safari to the Forbidden Forest.” It is a guided boat tour designed to show their customers how to maneuver safely past the 1097 bridge, since this area tends to have many areas with stumps underwater. Customers are encouraged to fill their boat with their family and friends and see part of the lake they may not have experienced before. It is a fun-filled day on the lake! Lakeshore Sports offers a unique “Rapid Response” system, designed to help you have as much fun on the water as possible. Six days a week (closed on Tuesday), the team is there to help you when issues may arise. “Our customers value the time on their boats, it is our job to make sure it is a wonderful experience”, said Clement.
